Assistant Head of KRG DFR receives a delegation from Netherlands

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (dfr.gov.krd) – Assistant Head of the KRG DFR received a Delegation from the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Netherlands, led by Willem Nicolaas Cosijn, Consul General of the Netherlands in Erbil to discuss on latest developments of the military situation in the region and areas of mutual cooperation.

Assistant Head of DFR focused on improving the ties between Kurdistan-Netherlands and their effective role in the humanitarian assistance, institutional support and capacity building in various fields, extending to pave ways to bring the two countries closer in promoting of the bilateral relations.

The Dutch delegation thanked the Assistant Head and KRG institutions for the warm welcome and emphasized to drive for further collaboration in the interest of both sides.

London, United Kingdom (uk.gov.krd) –  The Kurdistan Regional Government High Representative to the United Kingdom, H.E Karwan Jamal Tahir addressed the audience at reception held at the British Museum on Friday 3 August 2018 to celebrate the fifth round of the British Museum’s Iraq Scheme, a UK government backed training programme designed to establish dedicated corps of Iraqis and Kurdish heritage professionals, skilled to deal with the aftermath of the destruction of archaeological sites in the Kurdistan Region and other parts of Iraq.

A Dutch Delegation Visit DFR

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (dfr.gov.krd) – a Dutch delegation from the Ministry of Justice and Security composed of Hans Faber, Director of the International Affairs and Thomas Jacobs, senior advisor at the Directorate of International Affairs, led by Willem Nicolaas Cosijn, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands visited KRG Department of Foreign Relations and were received by Siham Jabali Mamand, Assistant Head of DFR. 

 

 

KRG DFR pledges continued support to Canada's Embassy Office in Erbil
